Waiting for Gateaux - Davenham Players are staging another comedy by Ed Waugh and Trevor Wood, writers of the national smash hit ‘Dirty Dusting’.

Welcome to Mo-tivators, possibly the world’s smallest and most inept health club, where you can have your cake – and eat it too.

They haven’t really got the hang of this health and fitness lark at all. But they love what they have got, and they’ll fight to protect it, no matter what it takes…

Who are ‘they’?

Well, there’s Maureen, who puts the Mo into Mo-tivators, and is clinging on to her little club.

Then there’s Donald, who’s lost 12 stone (so far) in the process of clinging on to his dreams, and Jackie, who is determinedly clinging on to her husband

Raven is standing her ground, no matter what, while Charles is quietly complacent

And finally there’s Sophie… who has her own agenda

Waiting for Gateaux runs for 5 nights from Monday 24 to Saturday 29 February 2020 (no performance on Thursday 27th – Davenham’s regular jazz night).

Performance starts 7.30pm.

Doors and Bar open 7.00pm.
