Gavin Hunter, a local historian, will be telling us about the founding and development of the Liverpool overhead railway. Known locally as the Dockers' Umbrella or Ovee the overhead railway operated along the Liverpool Docks and opened in 1893, before being finally dismantled in 1957.

All meetings, unless otherwise stated, are held at Weaverham Primary Academy, Weaverham on the second Tuesday of the month.

Starts at 7:30pm.

Membership is £15.00 per year. Meetings are free to members of Weaverham History Society, children and students. Visitors are requested to pay £2 at each meeting.
