Sunny Ormonde (Lilian Bellamy in The Archers), John Telfer (Ambridge’s Vicar Alan Franks) and The Antonius Players Ilone Antonius Jones (flute) and Matt Platt (piano) explore the fascinating world of Philip Larkin through his wit, words, women and music. Although primarily known for his poems, Larkin also wrote humorous criticisms about his fond love of Jazz.

In this engaging evening, The Antonius Players join forces with members of BBC Radio 4’s Archers cast and weave together several aspects of Larkin’s work, taking a fond look at his life and his loves.

Directed by Sue Wilson, who spent thirteen years at the BBC as Senior Drama Producer, directing well-over 250 plays and writing extensively for Radio 3 and 4. Sue loves to bring words and music together.

Advance booking strongly advised.
