The Ha'penny Messages are a special collection of postally used postcards of the Northwich Series selected from the John Chesworth collection. Mostly a century old or more, they have been enlarged to 10 times their original size. For many visitors the messages will be as fascinating as the photographs. Each one is a small piece of social documentary. Guest curated by Alan Carr, Chairman of Visual Arts Cheshire, in association with DAN Community.
The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday.
Also on Monday from 10am to 5pm on school holidays and Bank Holidays (except December).
Entrance to this special temporary exhibition is free.
There is a small charge when visiting the other galleries at the Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse.
